It's Valentine's Day! Two years ago today, Evan asked me to marry him, so this day always makes me swoon. We are preparing for a beautiful, food/wine/love-filled day, and I hope you all are treating yo' self today, too! But before the chocolate arrives and champagne starts flowing, let's take a look at what I found on the Internet this week.
Food for Thought
Agreeing Loudly Coast to Coast is a blog and podcast hosted by my friend Jered Weber. With grand discussions on politics, pop culture, and sports, it offers a little something for everyone. Check them out!
Calm down, people, I'm not mad---my face just looks like this. Resting Bitch Face is real.
If you were completely obsessed with Serial last year as I was (still am), please do yourself a favor and check out the updates Sarah Koenig provided on Adnan Syed's latest hearing. So intense.
Refinery29 created an “Anti-Diet Project” where they're trying to increase mindfulness around eating and appreciation for your food as it is. I love this series.
Although I don't necessarily appreciate another website telling me what I should and shouldn't wear, this might have been a good reminder that I should rethink the tennis shoes and boyfriend jeans combo at work...
Speaking of shoes, these armadillo print loafers from Bucketfeet are the first thing going on my feet come Spring.
Wine + T-Rex + Tank Top = Win.
Things I Want to Eat
As if risotto couldn't get any more decadent (or delicious), Wine Spectator posted this drool-inducing truffle and cheese risotto, which I'll be making as soon as I figure out where to buy white truffles...
It's been bitterly cold in Minnesota, and this roasted garlic and white bean lasagna soup from Pinch of Yum might be just what I need to warm up again.

Line of the Week
“Lying under such a myriad of stars. The sea's black horizon. He rose and walked out and stood barefoot in the sand and watched the pale surf appear all down the shore and roll and crash and darken again. When he went back to the fire he knelt and smoothed her hair as she slept and he said if he were God he would have made the world just so and no different.” The Road, Cormac McCarthy
If you found any awesome things hiding on the Internet this week, I'd love to hear about it! Please leave me a note in the Comments section or on my Facebook page.
Happy Valentine's Day, loves!
